God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves

Ar Ra’d (The Thunder) 13:11

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

I believe in God.

I believe that God is good.

I am grateful to God for giving me the gift of experiencing God’s goodness.

I express my gratitude towards God by thanking God, obeying God’s command for me, and loving God’s creations.

And seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, it is a burden except for the humble—

Al-Baqarah 2:45

People always tell me to be humble but they never tell me why I should be humble. Usually, they may just quote Proverbs 16:18 to me and say, “Pride goes before a fall”

18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
